Sleep

‘Sleep is an ongoing battle we have daily against ourselves’

The most common sleep problems are not being able to get to sleep or waking during the night, either repeatedly or for long periods of time, the results of this being feeling tired, low in energy and irritable during the day. This can then result in not getting enough sleep where we then feel low on energy throughout the day and resort to extra coffee or sugary drinks to keep us going.

Getting a good night's sleep is widely recognised as being a vital part of both our physical health and  mental health. We also need sleep to cope with the stresses or problems we face on a daily basis, at home, at work or in our relationships.

Anxiety, stress and depression commonly cause sleep problems and clients I see for these reasons are often struggling with either not getting enough sleep or too much. In these circumstances, sleep is often one of the first areas of life to be impacted. It is common for those that are not specifically seeking help for sleep issues, anxiety or depression often note disrupted sleep patterns or poor quality of sleep. This is because poor sleep can cause, or worsen the effects of, many conditions.

At The Wellness Hut our range of therapies available will result in improved sleep patterns, and when sleep improves other symptoms or conditions improve or subside too. Better still, it is entirely natural so there is no risk of medication dependency as there would be with sleeping pills. Helping promote good REM (rapid eye movement) sleep, helping to refresh and restorative sleep,  necessary for a healthy body and mind.
